If you are an American trans guy who can’t get T because of lack money or your insurance doesn’t cover it, you may be able to get it for free directly from the pharmaceutical company that makes it.

One example is ‘Abbot’ who produce Androgel. They have a website (linked below) that is specifically for people who can’t afford their prescriptions. Their requirements for getting free medication are as follows:

Eligible patients typically have no healthcare coverage for the requested product and do not have access to alternative sources of coverage or funding.

To get Androgel you have to have a prescription as it is a controlled substance. Therefore there is the cost of getting one, unless you go to a free clinic.

Follow the link and click on ‘Androgel Enrolment Form’. Fill it out IN FULL and include everything it asks or you will be refused.It might be time consuming but it will result in you getting free T that you wouldn’t get anywhere else.

Also, this is only for those who cannot afford T. If you have enough money to pay for it yourself you will be refused.

The Youth Welfare Office of Berlin is putting an 11 year old transgendered girl into a father’s care who is putting her into a mental institute simply because he believes transexuality is wrong. This young girl will be taught how her feelings are wrong,and pushed more into the denial that has claimed the lives of so many transgendered people, thanks to biased decisions by the Youth Welfare office this child’s life could be irrevocably ruined. I am starting this petition to try and make it known that this is not okay, that this is a breach of some of the basic human rights of this child

Diesem jungen Mädchen wird also beigebracht werden, dass seine Gefühle falsch sind und es wird somit immer mehr in jene Selbstverneinung gedrängt, welche schon das Leben so vieler Transsexueller gefordert hat. Und dies nur dank der vorurteilbehafteten Entscheidungen des Jugendamtes, die das Leben dieses Kindes unwiederbringlich ruinieren könnte.

Ich starte diese Petition um anzuprangern und um bekannt zu machen, dass dies nicht in Ordnung ist. Vielmehr, dass dies eine Verletzung der grundlegendsten Menschenrechte dieses Kindes sind.

PSA of the Day: Pfizer has issued a recall notice for over 1 million birth control pill packets — marketed by Akrimax Rx Products in the US — because they may inadvertently raise the risk of pregnancy.

According to the pharmaceutical company, the recall applies to packets that were accidentally shipped with too many or too few active tablets. The imbalance in proper dosage of the drugs is not dangerous, but may elevate the chance a woman taking these pill would become pregnant.

Pfizer says the root cause of the mixup was both mechanical and QA-related. A spokeswoman assured customers it has been since sorted out.

This recall could not come at a worse time for Pfizer, which just today announced a decline in fourth-quarter profits, which it attributes to generic alternatives for their best-selling products.

To see if your packet of Pfizer birth-control pills is being recalled, review the list of lot numbers on the FDA website.

CAFETY Supports the Convention Against Torture

Disability Rights Internatioal urges the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Obama Administration to fulfill its obligations under the UN Convention Against Torture. DRI calls for a blanket ban on the use of electric shock as aversive treatment for children or adults with disabilities across the nation. The DOJ has an open investigation into the treatment of children at JRC. Write a personal appeal to the investigators to help ensure that this torture is put to an end once and for all.
